Celebrating National Science Week

We have enjoyed celebrating National Science week at Nova, starting it off with some amazing workshops delivered to all the children by Sparks2 Education. Lots of volunteers were able to assist Jenny with her fascinating experiments and see some amazing scientific 'magic'. Our assembly allowed children to understand what life as an astronaut would be like and our introduction to people in STEM careers gave the students an insight into the personal qualities that these people have. They then thought about how they show these qualities themselves ,and you may have seen your child's collection of ideas at the end of the day. During lunch times, Mrs Wild ran some workshops in which the children were experimenting with chromatography. What a very busy week! Well done to all involved.
